Proposed Intercontinental League could Include S. American,
U.S., Mexican Clubs

Talk of international Futsal tournaments and intercontinental league play
involving the U.S. has been picking up in recent days. The sources are very good, and
there could be some concrete announcements before the end of the year.
One leading Futsal director in South America is reportedly discussing a plan for an
international Futsal league that would include club teams from 10 South American
Countries, the U.S. and Mexico.
According to initial information, the teams would play in groups of four, with each group
hosted by an individual country. The teams would play once a month.

the U.S. involving world-class Futsal clubs. The tournament would be held in an NBA arena
in a major city in the U.S.
